Ben’s Bridge
#LiveForBen
Ben's story did not end here.
Through love, compassion and action, we are building a bridge through others.
"You are not alone."
Welcome to Ben's Bridge
#LiveForBen
A Place for Support, Connection and Hope.
Welcome to Ben's Bridge.
Ben's Bridge was created from a mother's love for her son and the unimaginable pain of losing him to suicide on May 23, 2026. Ben was 19 years old.
He was a son, a brother, a friend, and so much more than the way his life ended. He was deeply loved, and his loss changed our family forever.
Out of his loss has come a desire to help others.
There are so many people struggling silently.
There are parents who don't know how to help their child. Friends who are worried about someone they love. People who are hurting but don't know who to call. And families who suddenly find themselves trying to survive the loss of someone they love to suicide.
Ben's Bridge is here for all of them.
You don't have to walk through it alone. Sometimes life can feel impossible, sometimes you don't know what to say, where to turn, or even what kind of help you need. You don't have to have all the answers. You just have to take the next step. Ben's Bridge is here to connect people with resources, support and people who understand. Whether you are struggling yourself, worried about someone you love, or grieving a suicide loss, you are not alone.
Before Ben became the reason why this website exists, Ben was simply Ben. He had a life, a huge personality, people he loved, dreams, struggles, good days, bad days, and countless memories that have nothing to do with the way he died. We want people to know him for the person he was, not just for the tragedy that took him from us.
The name "Ben's Bridge" comes from a very real place. A bridge that Ben loved to fish around. As we began thinking about what we wanted Ben's Bridge to become, the meaning grew. A bridge connects one place to another. It gives you a way across when you can't get there on your own.
This is what we hope Ben's Bridge can be. A connection between someone who is hurting and the help they need. A connection between a worried parent and the resources that can help them. A connection between a grieving family and people who understand. A reminder that even when you can't see the other side, there still can be a way forward.
We are just getting started. Ben's Bridge is in the beginning stages. There is so much we hope to build, and we cannot do it alone.
Our goal is to continue growing this into a place where people can find trustworthy resources, support, education, connection and hope. We are learning as we go. We are building one piece at a time, and we welcome anyone who wants to help us along the way. Every bridge starts somewhere.
FOR BEN. For the people still here. I wish with everything in me that I could change what happened to Ben. I can't. But I can choose what I do with the abundance of love I still have for him and will always have for him. I can tell his story. I can keep saying his name. I can try to build something that might help another family, parent, brother or sister, friend or another person that is struggling.
If Ben's Bridge can help even one person feel less alone, encourage one person to reach out, or help one grieving family find the support they need, then something good can grow from our deepest pain.
Ben will always be my son. And his bridge will always be here.
Welcome to Ben's Bridge.
For BEN.
For the people still here.
And for anyone who needs a bridge to hope.
